Taking center stage this year, is the new Nonya-Style Rice Dumpling with Plant-Based Meat, Sweetened Winter Melon, and Mushroom (传统娘惹植物肉粽, $23.90nett). The new flavour not only pays homage to rich culinary traditions of the Peranakan community but also reflects Man Fu Yuan’s commitment to meeting the evolving tastes of its discerning diners.

Crafted with meticulous attention, the new flavour encapsulates the essence of Nonya cuisine with succulent plant-based meat, sweetened winter melon, and fragrant mushrooms enveloped in tender glutinous rice. A perfect alternative for those seeking plant-based options, the new flavour is a meatless spin-off of Man Fu Yuan’s popular Nonya-Style Rice Dumpling with X.O. sauce (X.O. 娘惹豚肉粽, $23.90nett) that is generously filled with minced pork, homemade X.O. sauce, sweeten winter melon and dried shrimps.

For those with a penchant for sweetness, the new Glutinous Rice Dumpling with Red Bean, Honey Date and Red Date (红豆甜蜜枣红枣粽, $20.90nett), will be the perfect choice for the festival. Bursting with wholesome goodness and natural sweetness, this dumpling is a delightful fusion of textures and flavours, with creamy red bean paste complemented by the subtle sweetness of honey dates and the richness of red dates. A crowd- favourite from last year, and Duo Glutinous Rice Dumpling with Japanese Sweet Potato and Black Sesame (日本甜紫薯伴黑芝麻粽, $20.90nett) offers a refreshing change from the usual savoury rice dumplings.  

After it’s successful debut last year, Man Fu Yuan Giant Classic Cantonese Rice Dumpling with Red Quinoa (满福苑经典裹蒸粽, $98.80nett) makes its return. This limited-edition 1kg dumpling is all things Cantonese in a rice dumpling; generous bounty of premium ingredients such as two 5-head South African abalones, five-spiced pork belly, giant dried shrimps imported from Hong Kong, roasted duck, dried conpoy and red quinoa. Similar to last year, this is a limited-edition flavour with only 88 pieces available for purchase.

Man Fu Yuan’s signature and all-time favourite rice dumplings make their comeback - the Signature Wild Rice Dumpling with Smoked Duck and Yunnan Black Gold Garlic (云南黑金蒜熏鸭粽, $23.90nett) returns in its iconic circular-shape and the Traditional Hokkien-Style Rice Dumpling (传统福建豚肉香菇粽, $23.90nett) offer a taste of familiarity with generous chunks of five-spiced pork belly, chestnuts, mushrooms and dried shrimps.
