Celebrate Singapore’s diverse melting pot of cultures and feel truly at home with familiar flavours offered at the National Day-themed buffet available for dinner on 8 August and lunch on 9 August. Enriched with the sophisticated touch of Italian cuisine, the buffet spread is designed to offer something for every palate, making it the perfect choice for diners seeking to indulge in both local favourites and Italian classics.

 

A full spread of LUCE’s Italian must-haves include Sfilacciato di Manzo, pulled Wagyu beef, mashed potato, Parmesan; Le Costine di Maiale in Umido, braised baby pork rib, mushroom, red wine reduction; hand-pulled pizza La Formaggio e Pere with mozzarella, taleggio, provolone, pear and acacia honey, complemented by the local flavours such as Goan Prawns Masala, Ayam Masak Merah, the signature InterContinental Laska, Fried Hokkien Noodles, Lobster Popiah and more. Heritage Royale Afternoon Tea Set

With the refreshed signature Heritage Royale Afternoon Tea set, Executive Pastry Chef Jason presents a sophisticated menu that pays homage to the hotel's roots while offering a contemporary twist on classic flavours. Each set is complemented by two flutes of Champagne, perfect for toasting to the elegant surroundings and exquisite culinary creations.

Savoury highlights from the afternoon tea include Chilli Boston Lobster Roll, where the richness of Singapore Style Chilli Boston Lobster beautifully balanced the brininess of Salmon Ikura Roe, nestled in a buttery Brioche Bun; Home-Cured Beetroot Norwegian Salmon offers a rich flavour of beetroot-cured Norwegian salmon paired with luxurious Oscietra caviar and crisp puff pastry; the Signature Kaya Jam and Foie Gras is an exquisite blend of rich, buttery foie gras paired with the sweet, creamy flavour of traditional kaya (coconut-egg jam), enhanced with tangy pickled kumquat, nutty marron glacé, and a spicy chilli macaron. To satisfy your sweet cravings, indulge in the Ondeh-ondeh Swiss Roll, a flavour unique to Southeast Asia and commonly found in Singapore, the treat is made with roasted almond sponge, palm sugar curd and desiccated coconut.

Whole Lobster with Chilli Crab Sauce

 

Man Fu Yuan is proud to celebrate National Day with Whole Lobster with Chilli Crab Sauce and Fried Mantou ($88++), a dish that encapsulates the vibrant and bold flavours of Singapore. 

Available for 3 days only, from 7 to 9 August 2024, the dish features a succulent whole lobster, cooked to perfection, and generously smothered in the iconic signature chilli crab sauce. The rich, spicy, and tangy sauce is made using a blend of fresh ingredients and aromatic spices, capturing the essence of Singapore’s iconic chilli crab. 

Accompanied by crispy fried mantou, perfect for soaking up the delectable sauce, this dish is the perfect centerpiece for National Day celebrations.
