A harmonious fusion of Chinese, Malay, and Indonesian culinary traditions, Peranakan cuisine is a distinctive culinary art that blends the aromatic herbs and spices of Southeast Asia with the refined techniques of Chinese cooking, resulting in an extraordinary gastronomic experience steeped in history and tradition.
Kicking off A Peranakan Journey in February at The Lobby Lounge is the beloved Beef Rendang Tingkat Set ($52++). The opulent and aromatic Nyonya coconut beef stew features tender Australian bone-in short rib, meticulously slow-cooked and braised in a luscious blend of coconut milk and an exquisite medley of spices.
