In keeping with Man Fu Yuan’s tradition of for the Lunar New Year, the Year of the Snake brings the magnificent 60-inch (circumference) Blazing Snake Fortune Yu Sheng 火焰盘龙鳗 - 蛇来运转鸿运到捞生 ($988++ serves up to 10 guests). At the heart of this opulent yu sheng lies a deeper symbolism: each of the eight snakes form part of the Chinese character “福” (fortune), embodying blessings for the new year.
These include 平安 (peace), 喜乐 (joy), 健康 (health), 繁荣 (prosperity), 和睦 (harmony), 财富 (wealth), 贵人 (support), and 吉祥 (good fortune). The lavish creation features grilled eel ‘snakes’ within the yu sheng - known in Mandarin as 蛇鳗, the eels signify fortune and renewal, while Executive Chinese Chef Aaron Tan's inclusion of flambéed unagi cleverly honours the zodiac through taste and artistry. With a selection of eight different set menus, diners can be assured of a suitable option, whether for an intimate dining for two persons, or an extravagant gathering for ten or more persons.
For a fuss-free menu catering to big groups, the five-course Blissfulness Prix-Fixe Menu幸福满满priced at $938++ for five guests features a grand display of Man Fu Yuan’s signatures including the Man Fu Yuan Abundance Treasure Pot 阖家团圆齐欢畅金汤盆菜, brimming with over 18 premium ingredients such as the six-head whole abalone, rock lobster, premium sea cucumber, grilled unagi, dried whole scallop, fish maw and pork trotters, and toss to an auspicious year ahead with the Fortune yusheng with salmon sashimi topped with the signature golden wafu dressing and roasted sesame sauce 黄金和风芝麻酱,七彩三文鱼 - 鱼生.
The lavish seven-course Harvest Prix-Fixe Menu 六六大顺 is one extravagant feast to please. Priced at $1,558++ for 5 guests, the menu features top-notch quality ingredients. The celebration continues with perennial à la carte favourites, including premium roasts such as the Roasted Suckling Pig with Five Grain Glutinous Rice 全体腊味五谷糯米猪 ($538++), Trio Roast Platter三拼盘 ($69++) consisting of honey-glazed Duroc pork belly char siew; roasted Duroc pork belly and braised sakura chicken, soya sauce and rose dew wine, as well as the signature Applewood Smoked Irish Duck苹果木熏烤伦敦鸭 (whole at $138++, half at $78++).

Highlights include the whole Steamed Rock Lobster with Glutinous Rice, Crabmeat, and Crab Roe 岩石龙虾蟹皇菜香糯米饭 ($158++ per portion, whole lobster) features premium, delicately steamed lobster resting atop fragrant glutinous rice, enriched with the sweetness of crabmeat and umami-rich crab roe—a luxurious dish symbolising unity and prosperity.
The Flambé Eight Treasure Duck with Abalone 火焰鲍汁乾坤八宝鸭 ($198++, whole duck) impresses with a dramatic presentation and is stuffed with a flavourful medley of ingredients, each representing abundance and good fortune, with tender abalone as the crowning touch.
